Christine Johanna Hein

Christine Johanna Hein, 56, of Glade Park passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2018 in Glade Park.
She was born February 21, 1962 in Salt Lake City, Utah, the daughter of Laverne R. and Johanna L. (Gillett) Hevelone.
Christine graduated from Alta High School in Draper, Utah. She married Bill Hein on June 6, 1992 in Tiffany, Colorado.
After high school, Christine moved to Hollywood to pursue acting and modeling. She was a gifted baker who owned bakeries in Vermont and Tennessee. Christine once rode a tandem bike from Fairbanks to Anchorage, Alaska, and also climbed Mt. Rainier.
Living in Glade Park since 2011, she worked for Albertson’s, Mind Springs Health and Rite Aid.
She will be greatly missed by all.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her hobbies included baking and rescuing animals of all kinds.
Survivors include her husband Bill of Glade Park; a daughter Persephone Hein of Glade Park; her mother Johanna Hevelone of Hurricane, Utah; a sister Jennifer (John) Clements of West Valley, Utah; brothers Matthew (Patty) Hevelone of Price, Utah, Dean and (Barbara) Hevelone of Kearns, Utah and Bruce and (Amy) Hevelone of Draper, Utah.
Christine was preceded in death by her father Laverne R. Hevelone.
Services will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, August 7 at the Memorial Mountain View Mortuary, 3115 East 7800 South. A viewing will be held from 6-8 pm on Monday, August 6 at the mortuary and from 9 to 10:45 am prior to the services.
