Christina Webster Slock

Our mother, grandmother and friend passed away Saturday, June 29, 2019 surrounded by loved ones in her home. Born October 29, 1938 in Hartlepool, England to George and Rowena Webster. She came to the United States with her family when she was 15 years old. She married Frederick H. Slock in 1958. She enjoyed a long career at Westminister College, retiring in 2003. She spent her free time volunteering at her church, and playing the piano for residents at care centers with her sister Betsy.
Chris is survived by her twin sister and soulmate Betsy Webster Hamby, her children Lynn (Richard) Huber, Fred (Rene) Slock, and Kat (Andwyn) Slock, granddaughter Stephanie Sampson, and great grandson Tyler Carnesecca. Preceded in death by her parents, sister Marjorie, brother Richard, and sister Pauline.
Memorial services will be held at 2:30pm, Sunday, July 7, 2019 at Centenary United Methodist Church, 1740 S 500 E, Salt Lake City, UT. Refreshments and social gathering to follow. She was greatly loved and will be missed by all.
