Cherie Nielsen

Cherie Joy Nielsen passed away on February 28, 2015. She was born September 28, 1935 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She married Thomas Grant Nielsen. Cherie loved to be called “Grandma” by all. She loved camping and enjoyed the company of her family and animals. She was the life of the party, and there was never a dull moment being with her. Her smile and funny little habits will be sincerely missed.
Cherie is survived by her children, Byron Nielsen, Christy Joy Nielsen, Judy Nielsen; grandchildren, Kamie Anderson, Tyler Nielsen, Trisha Nielsen, Erin Garrett, Coby Nielsen, Joanie and Levi Bates, Quinton Nielsen, Dustin Steele, Jennie Gallegos and Danna Hanna and many great-grandchildren and friends.
Preceded in death by her husband; children, Tamara Nielsen and Lisa Nielsen and grandchildren Miranda Anderson and Jake Gallegos.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 5th, 2:00 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 So. Redwood Rd.
