Charlotte Ann Lovell

November 17, 1929 — July 25, 2024

Died on July 25, 2024, in Midvale, Utah. She was born on November 17, 1929, in Joplin Missouri to Clarence Homer and Shirley DeMarris Fleming Armstrong. She married Clead F. Lovell on July 17, 1952 in the Salt Lake Temple.

List of hobbies and accomplishments:

Charlotte attended schools in Joplin and Webb City Missouri. She graduated from Webb City High School in the class of 1948. She attended the University of Utah as a pre-nursing student. She was a faithful, life-long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in Primary, Young Women, Relief Society and her favorite calling, the Ward Librarian.

Charlotte enjoyed sewing patchwork quilts, gardening, canning, swimming and genealogy record keeping. Her family was her most prized possession and served us in so many ways that a loving mother would do. The smile on her face and sound of her laughter was contagious to all those around her. Her mindfulness of others and looking for the good in them was her special gift.

Charlotte's children and family would like to offer our sincere thanks to our sister, Olea Frandsen, for the many years of love and service she provided to Charlotte after the passing of Clead. And to the staff and caregivers at the Twin Oaks Memory Care Facility.

Charlotte is survived by her children Mark C. Lovell (Sharon), Ruel A. Lovell (Sherri), Jeff M. Lovell and Ann Harker (Cameron), 18 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. She is survived several nieces, nephews, dear neighbors and loving friends. She is proceeded in death by her husband, Clead F. Lovell, her loving daughter Olea Lovell Frandsen, her parents Clarence and Shirley Armstrong, and her siblings Francis Louise Fleming, Carol Jean Armstrong, Richard Fleming Armstrong, Phyllis Sue Armstrong and Philip Norman Armstrong.
