Charles Robert Yates passed away on March 1, 2018. He was born on November 6, 1948 to Charles B. Yates and Bonnie J. Sellman. Charles was married to Connie Trower and later divorced.
His passion in life was fishing. He loved to spend his time at the lakes and ponds. He served in the Vietnam War. He received a Purple Heart and was given an honorable discharge in 1970.
He is survived by his only son Justin (Teresa), 7 grandchildren: Madysen, Carter, Keltzy, Dalton, Phallyn, Stetson and Alivia, 2 great grandchildren: Jasper and Mia Elizabeth, brothers: Jim (Detta), Gary (Connee) and Randy (Lori).
He was preceded in death by his brother; Rick, sister; Alice and parents.
There will be no services at this time. The family will have a celebration of his life at a later date.
