Charles R. Park

Charles Rodger Park, age 62, died on May 16, 2017, in Kearns, Utah. He was born on August 13, 1954 to Charles Lorenzo and Lyle May Park. He married Yevette Ortiz on October 19, 1980. They later divorced.
Charles left us to go fishing with his little red canoe. He enjoyed spending time with family, especially his 6 grandkids. He was a father, grandfather, husband, mentor, friend, and most importantly, a hero to many. He was loved by everyone who knew him. He will be missed dearly, but knowing he has been reunited with his parents brings comfort to us all. We love you dad – papa – grandpawpaw – friend!
Charles is survived by Yevette Park; children: Chadwin (Angela), Carlie, Ceeson (Eric); grandchildren: Makenzi, Kaitlin, Chandlor, Charli, Ayva, and Audrey; brother and sister, Lorenzo and Charlene; and many cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles L. Park; his mother, Lyle May Park; and brother, Leon Park.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Memorial Mountain View Mortuary, 3115 East 7800 South, Cottonwood Heights, Utah. A viewing will be held at that same location on Monday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, and again one hour prior to funeral services. Interment will follow at Memorial Mountain View Cemetery.
