Charles “Leslie” Holt

Charles Leslie Holt was born on December 6, 1940 to Earl and Atha Holt. Leslie passed away on September 30, 2017.
Leslie had a long life goal to build a cabin. He built his cabin with his own two hands and that cabin became his home after retirement. He was a very hard worker and well respected by all. He was happiest when he was busy building something. Leslie was a gentlemen everywhere he went, but especially he was a gentlemen on his beloved mountain.
Leslie is survived by his three children, ShirLynn (Rob) Rawson, Roxann (Mark) Weaver, Brad (Valerie) Holt; his sister Donna (Harry) Scotland; 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
He is preceded in death by his father, Earl, his mother, Atha, his brother, Dale, and his sister JoAnn.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery at 6500 S Redwood Rd, West Jordan. A viewing will be held one hour prior. Interment will follow services at Memorial Redwood Cemetery.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the many angels at Pheasant Run Alzheimer’s Care Center and his Brio Hospice nurse, Rhonda.
