Cesar A. Martinez

Cesar A. Martinez, age 37, passed away on February 26, 2022 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born on July 19, 1984, in Los Angeles, California to Adan Emilio Martinez & Rosa Rodriquez Gutierrez.
Cesar was a Staff Sergeant in the Unites States Army serving two tours in Iraq and two tours in Afghanistan. He held a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and an Associate’s Degree in Botany. He was also a Financial Advisor.
Cesar enjoyed hiking, fishing, snowboarding, swimming, running and sailing.
He is survived by Octavio Cesar Martinez. He is preceded in death by David Martinez and Doja.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Memorial Redwood Mortuary located at 6500 South Redwood Road in West Jordan, Utah. The funeral service will be held at 5:00 pm at the same location following the viewing.
Interment will be at Camp Williams in Bluffdale, Utah at a later date.
