Celido “Joe” Pons, Sr.

Celido “Joe” Pons, Sr. was born on November 26, 1936 to Horacio and Margarita Pons in Key West, Florida. Joe passed away on November 27, 2017. Joe was married to June Ensign on August 29, 1955 and had five children together; Celido Jr “Joey”, Sue-z (Dan) Ackley, Bonita (Pete) Hinkle, Anthony, and Christopher.
Joe is survived by his loving wife, June; his children, Joey Jr., Sue-z, Bonita, Anthony, and Christopher; 12 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren, and two sisters.
Joe is preceded in death by his parents, a grand-daughter Shelby Marie Hinkle, and five siblings.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 1, 2017 at 11:00 AM. A viewing will be held Thursday, November 30, 2017 from 5 to 8 PM and on Friday from 10 to 10:45 AM. Interment to follow. All services will be at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery, 6500 S Redwood Rd, West Jordan.
