Celeste Parker

Celeste Parker passed away peacefully on April 19, 2017 following a valiant battle with Multiple Myeloma cancer. She was 50 years old.
 
Celeste was born November 7, 1966 to Van and Betty Parker. Celeste was the second of six children in her family.  Celeste was a bright child who had a natural aptitude for anything she chose to do.   Celeste enjoyed writing poetry and creating any type of art; drawing, painting, and pottery, just to name a few.  Celeste loved spending time with her family and her beloved fur babies, Shadow, Cricket, Lucky, and Kiki.   Celeste had a great appreciation for nature and enjoyed spending time outdoors when her busy schedule permitted. Celeste completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Business at the University of Utah and was a small business owner.  Celeste had a loving, kind heart and was a bright light to all who knew her.  She will be sorely missed.
 
Celeste is survived by the love of her life, Michael Nickle; Mother, Betty Parker; Siblings, Chandra Shulters, Chrystal Smalley, Robert Parker, and Cathryn Parker; Cousin Michael D. Parker, her honorary older brother; 6 nieces and nephews; and many extended family members who loved her dearly.
 
Celeste is preceded in death by her father, Van Parker; and her brother, Forrest Parker. Services will be held Monday, April 24, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Murray Mortuary; 5850 South 900 East, Murray, UT 84121.  Celeste will be laid to rest next to her brother Forrest at Elysian Burial Gardens Cemetery; 1075 E 4580 S, Salt Lake City, Utah.
