Catherine Thompson

Catherine Thompson, 76, died June 13, 2014 in Salt Lake City of natural causes. She was born December 26, 1937 to John and Marie Horkan. In 1959 she married Espy Gilbert Thompson. She was a fabulous cook and homemaker, baking sugar cookies for her loved ones on special occasions. She cared for her house and yard independently. Catherine is preceded in death by her son, Ricky Thompson in 1988 and husband Gilbert Thompson in 1998. She is survived by her sister Mary Johston; daughter Carolyn (Lou) Barrett; and grandchildren Hilary, Lauren, and Jack Barrett. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 18 at 11:00 AM, Mountain View Memorial Cemetery, 3115 East 7800 South, Cottonwood Heights, UT.
