Catherine Auriemma

Catherine Jeanette Auriemma (Bern-Auriemma), age 68, died on Monday February 22, 2021 in Murray, UT. She was born on January 16, 1953 in Texarkana, Arkansas to William Delph and Jackie Cawley. She was a dancer at heart and loved everything country. She loved a good line dance or a swing. She loved cats and horses and the theme was apparent in her décor at home and her style of dress. Most of all she loved her family and friends with a fierceness unmatched.
She was preceded in death by her mother Jackie who she thought about often. Now they will finally have the chance to catch up.
She is survived by the man of her dreams Anthony Auriemma to whom she was married 19 years. Her son Jayson Bern and his daughter Zoey Bern and 4 stepchildren whom she loved dearly. Her brothers Joe Delph, Tom Delph, and Steve Delph. And though there are far too many to name here, she loved every one of her nieces and nephews and all their children from not only her side of the family, but from her 1st husbands’ side of the family as well. She is known for attempting to maintain contact with them all on a regular basis. She loved to share their stories with anyone who would listen and her refrigerator was always plastered with pictures of all of them.
A memorial will be held on Thursday March 11, 2021 from 6pm to 8pm with a limit of 50ppl at Memorial Murray Mortuary 5850 South 900 East Murray, UT 84121.
Interment will be at Memorial Redwood Mortuary & Cemetery 6500 South Redwood Road West Jordan, UT 84123.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation to the Huntsman Cancer Institute in her name.
