Carrie Ann Frandsen passed away March 14, 2019 in Murray, UT at the age of 44.
She was born August 20, 1974 in Salt Lake City, UT to Alan and Kathy Hansen. She married Boyd Frandsen on December 3, 2002.
She is survived by her husband; her children Garrett and Cierra Frandsen; sister Angela (Jason) Brasher; and many loved ones.
She is preceded in death by parents Alan and Kathy Hansen; by grandparents Robert and Leona Yocom and Leland and Eva Hansen.
She was a proud member of the Army National Guard where she served in many job positions, was an expert marksman, and received a special commendation in communication using newly fielded radios. During her time with the National Guard she met the love of her life and found her chosen family.
Carrie was known for her sense of humor and sarcastic nature. She carried herself with pride and confidence. Her friends knew Carrie to be loyal and supportive.
Carrie loved nature, whether it was growing herbs, camping, hunting, or traveling to many national parks.
Carrie loved hockey. She was an avid fan of the Buffalo Sabre’s, the Grizzlies, and the Las Vegas Knights. She was a loud and proud supporter of the Copper Hills High School Hockey Team.
Her time with us was way to brief and she will be forever, terribly missed.
We would like to give our heartfelt thanks to Carrie’s medical team at Intermountain Medical Center for their care during her four years battling cancer.
