Carolyn M Woodard

Carolyn M. Woodard our loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, niece, cousin and friend was called back to her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born April 30th 1938 to Christian Peter Madsen and Marial Elizabeth Huggins Madsen of South Jordan where she was raised. She married her sweetheart Dale E. Woodard on July 27th 1956. She was the youngest of seven children and had four children and lived in West Jordan for many years.
She was survived by her husband Dale E Woodard of West Jordan, one son Dale Woodard wife Edwa of West Jordan, 3 daughters; Joann Young husband Rick of Midvale, Peggy Porter husband Michael of Garden City and Denise Nielsen of Ogden, one sister Katy Roberts of Oregon, one brother Ronnie Madsen of Wyoming, 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and three sisters.
Carolyn loved to read, needlepoint and crochet, made several beautiful afghans and other things for many family and friends. She was an amazing woman that had a big heart and was willing to help anyone in any way she could. You were loved and will be missed by many.
