Carolyn June Boothe Lawrence

Carolyn June Boothe Lawrence passed away at the age of 88 on February 17, 2024.  She was born on June 3, 1935 in Midvale, Utah to Calvin Harmon Boothe and Christina Marie Christiansen.  

Carolyn married Phillip Duane Lawrence on June 3, 1955.

Carolyn was raised on the family farm in Sugarville, Utah with her twelve siblings.  After graduating from Delta High School, she moved to Salt Lake City where she met her future husband, Phil. They were married and sealed on her birthday, June 3, 1955 in the Salt Lake Temple.  

Carolyn worked at ZCMI and for Granite School District in their kitchens as a cook.  She was always the one to bring the rolls to family dinners.  She loved to crochet, quilt, and especially work with ceramics.  She traveled to many places with her husband and sons, including the family cabin which was built by Carolyn and her husband.  Carolyn loved her family and would go out of her way to help anyone in need.   She will be greatly missed.  We love you.

Carolyn is survived by her two sons Richard Lawrence (Dana), Robert Lawrence (Evelyn); eight grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. 

She is preceded in death by her husband Phillip Duane Lawrence and her twelve siblings. 

The family would like to thank the staff at Copper Creek Senior Living, and the staff at Ovation Hospice for all the wonderful care and love they showed to Mom. 

Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Memorial Mountain View Cemetery, 3115 East 7800 South., Cottonwood Heights, Utah.  Friends may visit with the family prior to services from 10:00 to 10:45 AM at Memorial Mountain View Mortuary.
