Our beloved aunt, sister, and friend passed away on September 12, 2014. Born August 22, 1940 in Fort Worth, Texas to Oleta Hatcher and Walter Dent.
Carolyn was such a sweet and loving lady and always there to lend a helping hand and comfort anyone in need. She was an avid dog lover and took in many strays (and not just animals). She lifted all those who needed a shoulder or kind word. She’d “tell it like it is”. Carolyn had many friends and unconditionally loved them all and they loved her in return. She could always make you laugh and was such a fun person to be around.
Survived by her nieces, Tami, Dawn and Richelle; nephew, Kenny; many great nieces and nephews; dearest friends, Lola and Mary; she leaves behind her sweet baby, Bailey. Preceded in death by her parents, sister, Elouise “Red”, and niece, Terri; great niece, Vanessa. She will be sadly missed.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, September 15, 2014 at Mountain View Memorial, 3115 East 7800 South (Bengal Blvd), Cottonwood Heights, UT, with a viewing one hour prior. Interment to follow.
