Carol Petersen

Carol R. Petersen, age 85, passed away from illness incident to age, November 24, 2015. Born October 5, 1930 in Heber City, Utah to Orson and Ottilie Bollschweiler Roberts. Married Ray Petersen, June 4, 1948 (later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple). She was a dedicated member of the LDS Church and served in many callings. She especially loved the Primary children. Carol worked at O.C. Tanner for 23 years. She loved to dance and travel in their 5th-wheel with family and friends. She loved going to the cabin and spending time with her great grandchildren.
Survived by her children, Larry (Kathy), Kevin (Debbie), and Scott (Claudia); 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and her dogs, Zoe and Little Pete. Preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Ray; three sisters, Mae, Ila, and Wanda.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at the Draper River View 3rd Ward. 11420 South 700 West, Draper, Utah. Viewings will be held from 6:30-8:00 pm on Monday, November 30, 2015 at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan and one hour prior at the church. Interment to follow at Redwood Memorial Cemetery.
