Carol passed away on December 4, 2020 at the age of 91 at Rocky Mountain Care on Vine. She was born on August 25, 1929 in Fort Union, Utah to Frank Olson and Bessie Finch.
Mom was a very hard worker, raising three children. She loved animals and had many dogs, she loved when Vicky would bring her bunnies to the care center. The Farm visits were great when the alpaca gave her a great big kiss.
She grew a tomato garden that she loved and made awesome salsa. Mason jars were an essential tool to be used for her canning in the fall. She made the best candy with the help of her beautiful, huge walnut tree.
Christmas was one of her favorite holidays and loved decorating her house for the season. She loved making ceramics and macrame to share with everyone.
Family reunions was the highlight of her and everyone’s summers, especially water fights.
Carol is survived by her daughter Vicky Rowland, sons Neil Lemmon and Larry Lemmon, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Carol is preceded in death by her parents Frank Olson and Bessie Finch, and siblings.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, December 10, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM with a graveside service at 1:00 PM at Memorial Mountain View Mortuary 3115 East 7800 South, Cottonwood Heights, Utah 84121.
