Carol Cottle

June 26, 1929 — July 22, 2016

Carol Jensen Cottle, age 87, passed away peacefully in her sleep July 22, 2016 at her home from natural causes.
She was born June 26, 1929 in Salt Lake City, Utah, daughter of the late Loyal O. Jensen and LaVora Beck. Married Veran A. Cottle in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, May 3, 1950. Educated in Salt Lake City and Ogden. She graduated from Weber High School.
Mom was a wonderfully kind and courageous mother, grandmother and great-grandmother; and friend to all who entered her life. Always positive and humble, regardless of the hardships she experienced. Mom had an unwavering love of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and demonstrated those virtues in the way that she lived her life. She held many positions in the LDS Church, and was always reading, pondering and studying. Always classy, and a great example to all who knew her. Her cheerful and kind disposition is already greatly missed. We love you mom, and will always cherish and be grateful for the experiences we shared with you.
Survived by her five children, Michael A. and Ronda; Richard O. and Debbie; Erica E.; Alan J. and Celia; James A. and Carrie Cottle; her brother Loyal “Bud” Jensen, and sisters Becky McMillan, and Bernice Turner;  23 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Veran A. Cottle; whom she missed greatly.
Special thanks to Hospice CareSource and BrightStar Care for being so kind and caring in Mom’s last weeks.
