Carol Bennett Amann, a remarkable woman who touched the lives of many, passed away on July 4, 2024, in Salt Lake City. Born on September 18, 1932, in Delta, Utah, to Carl Winter Bennett and Adelaide Bagshaw. Carol is survived by her husband Emil O. Amann Jr., sister, Evelyn Teeples (Darrel), sons; Michael Amann (Kenya), Steven Amann (Melodie), Robert Amann, and daughter, Kari Johnson, stepdaughters Vicki Scott (Bill) and Diane Colby (Henry). She is preceded in death by her siblings Arnola Fullmer (Don), Donetta Kelly (William), Colleen Johnson (Junior), Carl Dee Bennett (Kathleen, Sharon).

Carol graduated from Delta High School and later attended the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. She was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, dedicating herself to serving others and fulfilling her various callings with unwavering faith. Her loving personality radiated warmth to everyone around her. She will always be remembered as a caring mother and grandmother, and great grandmother who dearly loved her family. 

Among Carol's fondest memories were the annual fishing trips to Yellowstone National Park, a beloved family tradition, and contributing her time and talents to the Festival of Trees project with her sisters. She was a founding member of her church quilting club, creating beautiful hand-stitched quilts. Carol had a passion for family history work and possessed incredible talents in sewing, cooking, and gardening. She loved flowers and cherished her rose garden. Her skill in preserving raspberries, peaches, apricots, and cherries was unmatched, and those fortunate enough to taste her homemade raspberry ice cream were always left wanting more.

Services to honor Carol's life will be held on July 12, 2024. A viewing will begin at 11:00 AM at the Highland View Ward, located at 3101 South 2300 East, Millcreek, Utah, 84109. The funeral service will follow at 12:30 PM at the same location. Interment will take place at 2:00 PM at Memorial Mountain View Cemetery, 3115 East 7800 South, in Cottonwood Heights.

Carol Bennett Amann's legacy of love and kindness will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. "This isn't goodbye, but rather 'until we meet again.'"
