Carlton Ouzts
Carlton LeRoy Ouzts passed away on June 14, 2019 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born on August 23, 1949 in Salt Lake City to Milton R. Ouzts and Lois M. Ouzts. He married the love of his life Beverly Littlefield on November 3, 1979 in the Salt Lake Temple.
He was the third child of 12 children: 9 boys and 3 girls. He graduated from Viewmont High School in 1968. He joined the Navy during the Vietnam war. He served on the U.S.S Ajax. After being released from the Navy he joined the IBEW to become an electrician for 40 years.
During his life time he enjoyed being a photographer, collecting stamps, coins and flags. Every flag day and military holiday and the fourth of July he would put up every flag he collected in the front yard.
He was active in the boy scouts for 50 years. He was an Eagle Scout and had his Fox Wood Badge Beads and the Silver Beaver.
For the last eight years Carl and Beverly have served a mission for the LDS Church as service missionaries at the Humanitarian Center.
Carl and Beverly have two beautiful girls Esther and Sarah.
He is survived by his wife Beverly and daughter Sarah. His 8 bothers Milton Jr. (Jackie) WA, Kevin (Deanna) NC, Philip (Coralie) UT, Paul (Jessica) UT, Steven (Kristine) AZ, Edward UT, Dale WA, Stacy (Peggy) UT and 3 sisters Nadine (Richard) FL, Joyce UT, Irene (Phil) AZ.
He is preceded in death by his daughter Esther Mae Ouzts and his parents Milton and Lois Ouzts.
There will be a viewing Friday June 21, 2019 at the Rose Park Stake Center 760 N 1200 W Salt Lake City, Ut from 6 pm to 8 pm. Services will be Saturday June 22, 2019 at the Rose Park Stake Center the viewing from 10 to 10:45 and the funeral will follow at 11.
Following the luncheon, the burial will be at Memorial Lake Hills 10055 S State St. Sandy UT.Service Information
