Carla Vargas-Devlin, age 72, passed away on May 3, 2021 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born on October 11, 1948 in Bergen, Norway to Ingols Cleveland and Olga Cecilia Sjo.
Carla was an avid painter and crafter. She was also an animal lover, especially of her cats. She advocated for animal rights and rescue, and would donate to animal charities often.
She is survived by her brother; Idar Cleveland, many in-laws, friends, and neighbors.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Richard J. Devlin and her daughter; Lizbeth Vargas.
An open house gathering for friends and family in celebration of her life will be held Saturday, May 8th, 2021 from 3:00-5:00 PM at the Memorial Murray Mortuary located at 5850 South 900 East, Murray, Utah.
