Calvin J. Christopherson passed away on January 13, 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada after a brief illness. He was born on June 5, 1949 in Murray, Utah to Joyce Schouten and Robert Calvin Christopherson. He attended Granger High School and Utah Valley University. He served honorably in Vietnam. He grew up in the Salt Lake City area and moved to St. George in 2014. He loved the beauty of St. George, “You can see the valley and the sunset”. He loved to spend his free time in the outdoors hiking and walking with his dog Sully. He grew up with a strong work ethic. He will be remembered for his infectious sense of humor and his love of animals. He is survived by his father Robert Calvin Christopherson, Sister Joy (Ray) Jennings, nieces and nephews, and his dog Sully. He is preceded in death by his grandparents and his mother Joyce Schouten. He chose to be cremated and have his cremated remains scattered in South Utah. Friends and family may share memories of Calvin at www.memorialutah.com.
