Byron, age 67, died on October 2, 2013, in Holladay, UT. He was born on March 16, 1946 in Salt Lake City, UT to Melvin Powell and Esther Timothy.
Byron served in the Air Force from 1965-1969. He was a skilled dental technician for over 25 years and enjoyed giving treats and gifts to his grandchildren.
Byron is survived by his four children, Shona Vernor, Jeremey Powell, Kristy Thitshao, and Rebecca Mieure; his eight grandchildren, Meagan, Casey, Sebastian, Abbey, Shadrach, Kayden, Alexander and Elijah; sister Myrna Hennefer and two brothers, Burt and Myron Powell. He is preceded in death by his brother Evern and sister Dee.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, October 8th at 2 pm, at Redwood Memorial Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road.
