Byron “Craig” Hollis

Byron “Craig” Hollis passed away on April 24, 2018 in Salt Lake City. He was born on Halloween, October 31, 1950, to Byron A. and Gloria M. Hollis.
Craig was a graduate of the University of Utah and worked in law enforcement. He retired from the Salt Lake City Police Department after over 20 years of service. Craig was an avid (fast) car enthusiast. In later years he spent many hours playing pool with his friends at the Mount Olympus Senior Center. He loved his dogs Buddy and Sammy.
He is survived by his brother Blaine H. Hollis and niece Jennifer McDaniel.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers; Brent M. Hollis and Bruce A. Hollis.
Graveside services will be held Monday, April 30, 2018 at 11:00 at the Salt Lake City Cemetery. The gravesite is near the intersection of Center Street and Grand Avenue.
