Burgandi Dana Butler, 21 of Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away suddenly on June 18, 2017. She was born September 24, 1995 to Kathy (Redd) Nay and Cody Spence Butler in Nephi, Utah.
Burgandi was full of life. She had a tremendous love for people and animals of any kind. Anyone who knows Burgandi, knows that if she loved you, then you were automatically family. She was the happiest when she was outdoors hiking, fishing, camping or boating.
With Burgandi’s passing we remind others that her life is one to be celebrated. Although we will miss her every day, especially her winning smile, she will forever remain in our hearts. God bless you, sweet girl!
Burgandi is survived by her loving mother, Kathy Nay; step father, Coleman Nay; father, Cody Spence Butler; sister, Ella Ruby Nay; brothers, Coleman and Casey Nay; grandparents, Karen Redd, Spence and Cindy Butler, Rijeana Butler, Dave and Jeannene Johnson, Coleman Nay, Margaret McDonough; boyfriend, Jessy Defa and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Dean Francis Redd; cousins, Jacen “JC” Redd, Rachel Mae Berrett, Brandon Lee Berrett and uncle, Lee Dean Berrett.
A Memorial Service for family and friends will be held Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at 10:30 AM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.
