Bryan Richard Brewster

Bryan Richard Brewster passed away at the age of 42 after a courageous month-long battle due to complication from heart surgery on April 20, 2021. He was surrounded by his family as he peacefully departed this life.
Bryan was born March 11, 1979 in Murray, Utah to Richard James Brewster and Beverly Ann Eggli. Bryan went to West Jordan High School and later graduated from Stevens-Henager College in 2008 with a degree in computer science. He most recently worked for Salt Lake County and before that worked at Hydro Engineering. Bryan was passionate about protecting people’s rights and keeping the environment safe. He devoted his time to both of these causes. Most of all he devoted his time to using his computer skills to build a better life for himself and his family. Bryan had a great sense of humor. He will be remembered for his constant jokes and infectious laughter.
Bryan is survived by his parents and stepparents Richard James (Nancy) Brewster, Beverly Ann Sawyer and Peter Arnold Sawyer; his beloved siblings April Brewster, Jason Brewster, Ashley Sawyer, Allen (Kalyn) Sawyer, Kevin Brewster, Rick (Amber) Brewster Jr, Jennifer (Cody) Smart and Brandon Brewster; his nieces Vanessa and Freyja Sawyer; his grandfather James Brewster; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Bryan was preceded in death by his grandfather Daniel Walter Eggli; his grandmothers Ramona Delorous Hiatt Eggli and Catherine Ann McGee Brewster; and uncle David Lee Brewster.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 12 pm at the LDS chapel at 1465 W Bristol Ridge Road (8440 South), West Jordan. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services. Burial will be at Memorial Lake Hills Cemetery at 10055 S State St, Sandy.
