Bryan Jay Robinson

June 15, 1962 — November 24, 2024

Murray

God smiled on the Robinson family on June 15, 1962, when He sent them Bryan Jay Robinson to be the son of Jay Leo Robinson and Charlene Shaw Robinson. He was lovingly accepted by his immediate and extended family as the down syndrome special child that he was. Bryan died on November 24, 2024, in Murray, Utah of natural causes.

Bryan was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and in his early years faithfully attended church each Sunday. He loved music, dancing, and sports, winning many Special Olympics medals.

Bryan has been associated for many years with the Columbus Community Center in Salt Lake City, where he was a well-respected participant. He lived in their Jones Court Group home for 37 years, where he was well cared for by loving, capable employees seeing to every one of Bryan’s needs.

He is survived by his mother, brothers, Mark (Sharon) Robinson and Dennis (Sherry) Robinson, sister Becky Schara, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A graveside service will be held December 2, 2024, at Ogden City Cemetery at 1pm. Thank you to all who assisted Bryan on his journey through life. He loved and embraced everyone he met, and his sweet personality touched many lives for good.
