Our beloved patriarch, dear husband, father, grandfather, & friend, left this earth on November 29, 2013, to be with his Heavenly Father. He passed away after a long illness related to complications of diabetes. Born on April 15, 1930, he was raised in Greenwood, Illinois, to Glenn Earl Morrison & Dorothy Grafton. He was raised on a farm and was no stranger to hard work. Bruce moved and settled in SLC, Utah. He met and married Janice Thornley and had two children and later divorced. He then met and married Linda Hagen and took on the job of raising her 5 children. He worked at Kennecott Copper for 32 years as a Superintendent in Ore Haulage. He was loved by all who worked with him. He later took a job at Office Max for 10 years and retired. He was a man of honor, trust, and sincerity. He worked hard all of his life and provided for his family. Words cannot describe the loss of this gentle soul to his family. He left behind his wife and best friend of 33 years Linda Morrison (Taylorsville). At the time of his death he was preparing to go through the temple and loved his scriptures and his missionary lessons. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Jim, sister Shirley and beloved dog Tuff. Survived by his spouse, 7 Children: Jeff (Ruthanne) Morrison, Lori (Brad) Buhler, Crystal (Larry) Talbot, Debbie (John) Hennesy, Teresa (Todd) Jordan, Carl Winfield, Ruth (Roger) Jeffery; 35 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren. Our heartfelt gratitude to the gifted hands of Dr. Habib & Dr. Aslami for the extra time they gave us with our Patriarch. Also, we would like to thank everyone at St. Marks Hospital, especially Paul the discharge planner who made it possible for our father to spend his last days at Care Source Hospice; they were all wonderful to our family during our time of need. Our thanks also go out to the many that cared for him with love during the past years, especially Advanced Home Care Solutions. There are too many others to mention but we, the family, thank you.
