Bruce Lavell Lambson

Bruce Lavell Lambson age 80 died on January 7th, 2016 in Murray, Utah.  He was born on November 16th, 1935 in Price, Utah to Emma Ronelda and Brigham Lavell Lambson.  He attended and graduated from Carbon High School in Price, Utah. He married Virginia Doris Benfield on May 27, 1954.
Bruce and Virginia moved to Salt Lake City in 1954 and Bruce began his undergraduate studies at the University of Utah.  Daughter Shelly was born in 1955 and daughter Sharron was born one year later.  Bruce graduated from the University of Utah.  The family moved to Baltimore, Maryland where Bruce attended the University of Maryland College of Dental Surgery. He was an esteemed member of the Psi Omega Dental Fraternity.  Upon graduation from the University of Maryland in 1969 he started his dental practice in Salt Lake City.  Daughter Sunny was born in 1970, followed by a son Kyle in 1972.
He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He was an accomplished and highly respected dentist in Salt Lake City for over 30 years. He served as a USA Swimming Certified Official and served in the position of Head Official in Utah for over 20 years.
He loved to play racquetball and golf.  He served as past President of the Utah Dental Golf Association.  He was an avid runner and ran every day for many years.  He enjoyed hunting with his son, friends and grandsons each year.  He loved to make custom tied flies for fly-fishing.  He took great joy in telling a good story and maintaining a beautiful yard.
He is survived by his wife Virginia, daughter Sunny, son Kyle, and daughter-in-law Andrea, his sister Maxine Wells, grandchildren Stone Riff, Kaegan, Ava, Elijah and Elsa Lambson and Keira, Collin, Chase and Kambria Dailey.
He is preceded in death by his parents Emma and Lavell Lambson, his daughters Shelly and Sharron, granddaughter Kyla Kaye Lambson, and sister Bonnie Migliori.
A viewing will be held Friday January 15th from 6-8 pm and also Saturday January 16th from 10-10:45 am at the LDS Chapel at 3625 East Dover Hill, Cottonwood Heights, Utah.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday  January 16th at 11 am at the LDS Chapel 3625 East Dover Lane, Cottonwood Heights, Utah.
Interment will be at Memorial Estates Mortuary immediately following funeral services.
