Brooke Showalter Carter

November 1, 1989 — June 21, 2020

Brooke Showalter Carter was born in Provo, Utah on November 1, 1989. After her courageous threeyear battle with breast cancer, Brooke passed peacefully on June 21, 2020 in her Mesa, Arizona home surrounded by her family.  Brooke’s life was a remarkable journey. Her family’s moves provided the opportunity to touch people’s lives in many places. Her qualities of quick humor, a loving heart, and joyful living were magnetic. Many of the friends she made along her journey remained close to her. In short, if you knew her, you loved her. She was the most amazing sister to her brothers. She was a devoted, fun, and kind daughter. She was a precious, treasured wife to her husband. Her children, Nash and Faye, were her whole world. Being their mother was her sacred Joy. She is now reunited with her sister Lauren who went before her, where they are surely rejoicing. Brooke is survived by her husband Christian, children Nash and Faye, her brothers McKay and Ty, and parents Aaron and Audrey. Her passing on the summer solstice, the brightest day of the year, is a reminder of the light she is in all our lives.
