Brooke Lyn Hunsaker
June 19, 1992 — September 15, 2021
Brooke Lyn Hunsaker, our beloved mother, daughter, sister and friend, passed away September 15, 2021. She was the third angel to bless the home of her parents Randall G & Paige Fillerup Hunsaker. She loved spending time with her family, especially her sweet wonderful baby, Sophia.
During her short time here on earth she found enjoyment in nature. Many hours growing up were spent with her family boating at Lake Powell, camping, the sand dunes, and going on family trips together. One of her favorite trips was to Maui. She loved flowers, plants, gardening and just being outside watching the wind rustle the trees. Brooke spent many hours practicing the violin to become an accomplished violinist. She played high school basketball and was a very effective center for the team. While in high school she completed the Jordan Tech Center Physical Therapy Technician program. She was blessed with intuition and could feel and help others with their pain. Brooke fought a long courageous battle with emotional demons. Through years of therapy and struggles, her momma was her soul mate, cheerleader and best buddy. She is finally at peace and in the loving arms of her Father in Heaven. We will deeply miss this sweet, witty, wonderful person.
Brooke is survived by her daughter Sophia Aurora, fiancé Marion Jay Beagley, loving parents, sister Heidi (Ryan) Hunt, brother Dustin (Ashlynd) Hunsaker, two nieces, three nephews and Grandma Marilyn Fillerup. Preceded in death by Grandpa L Ross Fillerup and Grandparents Helen L and Shorland G Hunsaker.
Funeral will be held September 27, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the LDS chapel located at 2115 Sublette Place, Sandy, UT 84093. Visitation will be Sunday evening 6:00-8:00 PM at Mountain View Memorial 3115 E 7800 S and 9:30 -10:45 at the chapel prior to service. Thank you to all of those who were friends and loved and helped Brooke throughout her short life.
