Brigham Harry Woodward

February 20, 2001 — January 6, 2020

Our son, our brother, our friend, our smiley guy. 18 years isn’t enough. You will be missed every day by Makenzie & Mike & James, Brady & Rylee, Mckade, Mom & Dad, Grandma Brown, Grandma Cathy & Papa (Grandpa Dee), Grandpa Harley & Judy, and a list of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends so long that we couldn’t finish it.  School friends, neighborhood friends, football friends, and work friends. This is such a loss in all of us. These pictures of you- this is you. The smile on your face, the light in those eyes. The heart on your sleeve for family, friends, and this Nation.
Darkness comes- but light beats back the dark. SYOTOS. That’s what you always said. See you on the other side.
Your heart was always your strongest feature. Your hard head was always right there too. Brig we watched you grow. Never very big- but always as fast as you could and as close to the edge as you could get. From toddler underwear that mom had to pin at the waist to stay up, to little league football, where you started slow and got good, to hunter safety where you’d empty the mag as fast as you could, to driving (and crashing) ATV’s, cars, grades, and your life. At the time it was annoying, but you wouldn’t back down. Now, it’s a strength we admire. No matter the cost, no matter the consequences, you said what you thought. You did things your way. When dad told you “Don’t get fired… you’ll never make that much again”, you said what you thought and you found another job making more, that you liked more. If you didn’t know how to drive a stick shift, you taught yourself. When your car broke, you fixed it and hit the road as soon as the last nut was tight.
You loved as hard as you could. You didn’t hold back. No matter the cost. We have wept at losing you so soon, but are grateful that your spark touched our hearts as only you could do. May the grandparents who crossed over ahead of you, keep you laughing and loving until we all get to see you on that other side.

With all our hearts, Your Family.
