Brian Smithson

January 16th 2022 Brian John Smithson a son, brother, husband, father and Uncle B was taken from us far too soon. Brian was a man with such a huge heart and would do anything for anyone. Not afraid of difficult conversations or hard work Brian always wanted everyone to feel welcomed and loved. He was the glue to our incredible social circle and a loyal Ute, Niners, and Arsenal fan no matter what type of season his teams were having. As his loving wife I know that although he may not be with us physically; Brian’s laugh, humor, and dexterity will still be in our hearts and be recognized through his son Rollins. It wasn’t long after I met Brian that we knew that we were going to have a family together. Little did I know what an incredible son I would have and also gain an incredible extended family and friends (aka framily) who will help me raise Rollins as if he was their own.
Brian had a love for camping, fishing, skiing, and hanging with this friends and family having a great time and listening to great music. Utah tailgating and games is when we all saw the love and energy that Brian had to ensure that everyone was taken care of and having a good time. Honor Brian through laughter, tell those around you how much you love them, and eat and drink well. You only live once so live it to its fullest.
You will be missed dearly B!!!
