Breanna Patricia Hymas

August 18, 1982 — July 2, 2016

Breanna Patricia Hymas, a.k.a. Bre, returned back home to her Father in Heaven as she was encircled by her children, parents and siblings during the afternoon of July 2, 2016. Our beloved daughter, sister, aunt and grand daughter was a spirit that wanted to be free and consistently struggled to unconfine herself from her own mind. Despite the battle she fought with herself, with others she was compassionate, peaceful, extremely giving and tenderhearted. Forever loved and never gone from our hearts, her demons are finally silenced and released to her Savior’s atonement.
Bre entered our family as the last child of Kelly and Laureen Hymas, and only girl of four children, on August 18, 1982. “The prettiest baby of all 4 children” she was called, with bright blue eyes and long blonde hair. She made our family complete, and also made our family competitive as no one could quite “measure up” to this little blonde-haired beauty.
As a young girl, Breanna enjoyed dance and gymnastics. She also spent many days and nights at the ballpark or gymnasium supporting her brothers’ teams. Perhaps her greatest gift was her ability to connect with people in the bleachers and make them laugh. She was always smiling, and capable of starting up a conversation spur of moment! She would play sports a little, but mostly she was always there to watch her brothers engage in those activities and to support them!
Known for her big heart and giving spirit, it wouldn’t surprise anyone that as a young single mother struggling to make ends meet, her main focus was to support her children in their dreams and their goals, for this is what she did as a child for her brothers. She worked very hard to give her children, Jordan (16) and Jayden (14), the best life that she could with the means that she had. Jordan and Jayden were her absolute pride and joy.
Bre worked in a variety of industries in her young life. Her favorite was the hospitality industry working at a hotel in downtown Salt Lake. She loved people. She had many friends. And was adored by her coworkers and people that she associated with in and outside of her professional life.
We find great comfort in reminiscing about the last days that we had with Bre. Particularly June 17-19, just two weeks before she left us. She said on more than one occasion, “these are the best days of my life!” She was doing something that she had never done. She was at the family ranch, with her two children, and all of her siblings and parents with her. We were all on four wheelers. We were at the 9000′ mark on the mountain overlooking God’s magnificent landscape and sunset. There was a picture taken of Bre embracing her two children as they watched the sun set over an entire valley that went on forever! A most precious keepsake that will live in our minds forever! That’s the Bre that we will remember!
Breanna was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was proud of her children in their church activities.
She is survived by her mother Laureen Hymas. Father and step mother Kelly and Terrie Hymas. Children Jordan, Jayden and Morgan Hood. Siblings Chad (Shondell) Hymas, Jeremy (Shelley) Hymas, and Brian (Melanie) Hymas. Step siblings Andrew (Megan) Oslter, Kara (Chase) Makay, and Erin Ostler.  And her only living grandparent, Grandpa Lori Pivic of Rock Springs, Wyoming. As well as several nieces and nephews and extended family.
