Our loving son, brother, uncle and friend passed away on Sunday, April 6th, 2014. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah to his loving parents Martin W. and Jolene H. Mascarenaz on July 13th, 1985.
Brandon loved the outdoors and spending time with his family and friends. His contagious smile always seemed to be the brightest when he had a fishing rod in his hands and was breathing the fresh mountain air. His nieces and nephew were the light of his life and nothing made him happier than to be with them. Brandon’s kind-hearted personality was able to touch the lives of so many people given his brief time with us. Above all, Brandon will always be remembered as our cherished Son, Brother, Uncle, Grandson and beloved Friend to many. Brandon succeeded in receiving his GED with his brother Kyle, which was one of his major goals. He was currently attending Stevens-Henager College pursuing a degree in Computer Technology. The drive and dedication he had towards completing his College degree was inspiring to many.
Brandon is survived by his parents, Martin and Jolene Henline Mascarenaz; his brothers, Jared Mascarenaz, Jason Mascarenaz (Chrissy) and Kyle Mascarenaz; his grandmother, Lois Henline; his nieces Kylie and Makena Mascarenaz (daughters of Jared Mascarenaz); his nephew, Jackson Mascarenaz (son of Jason and Chrissy Mascarenaz), aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends. He is preceded in death by grandparents, Ernest and Tomasita Mascarenaz, Emer Henline; uncles, Candido Mascarenaz, Lawrence Mascarenaz; aunt Diane Henline.
A public viewing in remembrance of Brandon will be held for his friends at Redwood Memorial on April 10th from 7 pm to 9 pm. A private service for family and friends of the family only will be held at a later time.
