Bonnie Jean Johnson

Bonnie passed away surrounded by family and loved ones, June 2, 2016. Born to E. LaVar and M. Rena Peterson Sackett in Salt Lake City.
She married her sweetheart, Newell “Johnz”, June 14, 1963 (he preceded her in death). She was a loving wife, mother and grandma.
Mom worked a variety of jobs, but her favorite of all was that of a “stay at home mom”. She was known for her wonderful cooking. She had a great compassion for those in need, giving service and care. Our mom instilled great principles and values in us as children which lead us to be devoted to our own families, with all being married over 20 years.
Bonnie is survived by her children Wendy (Dennis) Nelson, Julie (Lee) Winrow, Frank (Brenda), and Glen (Lisa); beloved grandma to Tyler, McKenzie, Cambrie, Raevyn, Jase, Merissa, and Sageon; great grandma to Dillan, Graysen, and Lacie; siblings Wanda and Bill (Randee).
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, June 11, 2016, at Memorial Redwood, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, UT, with a viewing to be held one hour prior.
