Bonnie Fullmer

April 12, 1932 — December 17, 2014

Bonnie Colleen Peterson Fullmer, age 82, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 in Sandy, Utah. She was born on April 12, 1932 in Vineyard, Utah to Stanley Theodore and Minnie Iretta Johnson Peterson. She was the fourth of seven children and was raised most of her life in Utah County.
A year after she graduated from Provo High School, Bonnie met and fell in love with John Seth Fullmer during his first leave from the Air Force. They were married on July 6, 1951 in Provo, Utah and later sealed in the Jordan River Temple. They enjoyed 60 wonderful years together.
Bonnie was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in 3 Relief Society Presidencies in Utah and 2 Relief Society Presidencies in Silver City, New Mexico. Her greatest joy is her family and spending time with them. She loved to sew, camp and travel. She also enjoyed shopping for shoes, purses and clothes.
Bonnie is survived by and is a great Mother to her 6 children: Sandra Covington, Floyd (Kathy) Fullmer, Karen (Paul) Washburn, David (Diane) Fullmer, Perry Fullmer, Cheryl (Steve) Vincent; Nana to her 30 grandchildren and G-G (Great Grandma) to her 59 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, father, mother, sisters: Betty Fritz and Iretta Sumner; brothers: Keith and Garry; son-in-law, Brent Covington and great grandchild, Candice Covington.
Funeral services will be Monday, December 22, 2014, 11:00 am at 10375 South Leilani Drive, Sandy, Utah. A viewing will be Sunday, December 21, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Lake Hills Mortuary, 10055 South State Street, Sandy and again starting at 9:30 a.m. at the church. The interment will follow the services at Lake Hills Memorial Park.
