Bonne Ellen Pratt-Buck

“Getting Old Isn’t For Sissie’s”
Bonne Ellen Pratt-Buck, age 94, died January 18, 2016 in Oakley, Utah.  She was born on September 23, 1921 in Richmond, Utah, to Carl David and Ellen Stephania Anderson Carlson.  She married  Kenneth Wayne Pratt on March 9, 1943.  Kenneth passed away February 18, 1978. Married George E. Buck, August 28, 1987.  George passed away June 13, 2014.
She served on temple square from 1978 to 1983 and had many church callings.  She traveled extensively and loved every minute of it.  She volunteered at Cottonwood Hospital for many years.  Sewing, knitting, and bowling were some of her many talents.  She was a member of the Taylorsville Suburban Arts Club.
She is survived by children, David L. (Lee), Steven K.(Leslie), and Karin (Terry, deceased) Powell; 6 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands, brothers Herman and Norman Carlson, grandson Jonathon Ezra Pratt, and son in law, Terry.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, January 22, 2016 at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah with a viewing to begin at 1:00 pm. Interment to follow.
