Blaine Allen Swasey

Blaine Allen Swasey, age 64, passed away on January 13, 2024, in Roy, Utah. He was born on November 6, 1959, in Murray, Utah to Naomi Keel Hendrickson and William Martin Swasey.

He married Helen Martinez on July 13, 1985. They were married for 22 years. 

Blaine graduated from Hillcrest High School. He went to work for Utah Industry for the Blind and later worked with Marriot laundry services. Early in adulthood he married Helen Martinez, they had three children and he loved being a dad. He also enjoyed swimming and Lagoon rides, along with home improvements. He had four guide dogs throughout his lifetime. Later he became a grandpa and loved every moment.

He is survived by his son Patrick Swasey (Natalie), daughter Teresa Gonzalez (Isaac), grandchildren Victoria Gonzalez, Elizabeth, and Alexis Swasey. As well as his sisters Carol Davis (Eddie), Christine Baumgartner, and Kelly Hendrickson.

He is preceded in death by his son Blaine Swasey Jr., mother Naomi, father William (Marty) and Nan (Ella).
