Billy Lee Loghry, age 87, passed away peacefully at his home in Murray, Utah on February 22, 2014. He was born December 3, 1926 in Gravette, AR to Ira Jacob Loghry and Bulah R. Setser. He married Crystal Gwendolyn Goodman (later divorced). Billy served an LDS mission, and served in the military during WWII. He was a power plant engineer at LDS Hospital, and donated time and services to Deseret Industries. He spent his life doing geneology for others. He was a great father, grandfather, uncle and friend to all. He loved being surrounded by children. He is survived by his son Richard (Kathy); 2 grandchildren, Crystal Shelley (Jake) and Austin Loghry; 2 great grandchildren; brother Joe (Glenda), sister Dorothy Elfring (Jake); nieces and nephews, and many friends he loved like family. He was welcomed on the other side by 3 grandchildren, Anthony, Jennifer, and Adam Loghry, among other family and friends. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 28, 2014 at 11:00 am at Murray 22nd Ward, 619 West 5750 South. Viewings will be held Thursday, February 27 from 6-8 pm at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road in West Jordan, and one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will follow at Redwood Memorial Park.
