Bill Rosner

March 8, 1955 — September 30, 2020

Wilhelm (Bill) Rosner age 65 died unexpectedly September 30, 2020 at home. He was born March 8, 1955 to Herbert and Auguste Rosner in Lethbridge Alberta, Canada. Bill, an avid boater and fisherman graduated from Granite High School Class of 1973. After high school Bill worked many jobs including service station attendant/wrecker driver, furniture mover and steel fabricator. Later in life Bill worked for LHM Honda and St. George Shuttle where he enjoyed meeting and talking to new people.
Bill ultimately followed his heart and his love for the outdoors and moved to St. George, UT. It was there Bill attended Dixie State College, earned a degree and found his true passion helping and guiding at-risk Native American youth. Bill served diligently in that role for nearly 20 years, coming back to Salt Lake only to be with his ailing parents. It was at his Mom’s funeral he became reacquainted with his future bride and surviving wife (Patricia Rosner) married 13 years. Bill’s greatest gift was LOVE. Bill loved his family especially his grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Bill is survived by his wife Patty, brothers Walt and Pete, sister Gaby (Rod), step-son Kirk (Kim), and 4 grandchildren (Eeva, Tye, Daisy, Bonnie). Bill also leaves many nieces and nephews and their children who will fondly remember Uncle Bill.
