Beloved, wife, mother, grandmother, neighbor, and friend, Beverly Tidwell Shelton Ball, passed away on February 28th, 2021 of Cancer. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah on December 20th, 1946. Beverly lived most of her life in Holladay and in the Sandy area. In her later years, she retired to Ivins, Utah, and lived at the base of Snow Canyon State Park. While residing here she made many wonderful friends and loved to entertain. Beverly loved teaching and every student was special to her. Each day they left her classroom having learned something exciting, reading a fun storybook, singing, and feeling wonderful about themselves. Beverly loved celebrating and decorating her home for the holidays. Her past times were reading, gardening, tennis, pickleball, and bridge. Her best times, however, were game nights with her friends, and the time spent with her children and grandchildren. Nothing was more important to her than friends and family. Preceded in death by her mother Virginia Peltier Tidwell, her father Kenneth L Tidwell, and her late husband John R. Shelton. She is survived by her husband Richard R. Ball, son Scott Shelton, daughter Natalie Shelton (Bryan Dicou), daughter Nicole Shelton (Kent Harmer). She had four grandchildren, Skylar Dicou, Sydney Dicou, Ashley Harmer, Kayla Harmer. She also had one brother, Craig Tidwell, and sister, Marie Tidwell Hofmann. Richard and Bev would like to thank the doctors, countess nurses, and emergency personnel at St. George Regional Hospital that helped comfort her at this time.
