Beverly Kim Nicholls Langenegger
On January 24, 2017, Beverly “Kim” Nicholls Langenegger, passed away at her home in Murray, Utah.
Our sweet sister was born August 25, 1956. Her parents, Morris E. and Beverly Rae Tuft Nicholls were elated as they welcomed this beautiful baby girl into their family and their home in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Kim was a spunky, curious child who grew to love all animals. Cats became her passion. They were a constant sight in her home as she grew older. There was always room for one more. They were her babies. She loved and cared for many over the years, whether they belonged to her or not.
Kim was always the life of every gathering. She had a contagious smile and an uncanny sense of humor. She enjoyed making people chuckle and always had a comment that would spark an intense laugh session. She spoke fluent “Kimanese”, her unique language of whimsy, which had us all rolling on the floor with amusement. She was a character.
Kim’s other passion was her work. She had a strong work ethic and provided the medical production field 30 years of her responsible, hard-working devotion. She was a skilled and knowledgeable worker. She loved the people she worked with at ICU Medical and was always up for a challenge.
Even though Kim never had children of her own, her nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews, were the light of her life. She loved playing with and spoiling the kids. Her silly antics would have them screaming for more fun with Aunt Kim. She always had some money, a treat, or a precious memento to give them. She attended many ball games, dance recitals, and other activities because she loved being a part of their lives and they adored her.
Through most of her adult life Kim was troubled with many health issues and lived in constant pain. Through it all she wore a smile and faced each trial with determination and a positive attitude, always looking forward to the good things in her life.
Kim was preceded in death by her father and mother, her nephews, Ryan Snyder and Kurt Nicholls, her niece, Beverly Ann Nicholls and her grandniece, Mya Alvarado . She is survived by her cat, MoMo, brothers and sisters, Donald (Rosemary) Tuft, Karen Sue Sanderson, Steven (Stephanie) Nicholls, Craig (Georgann) Nicholls, Robyn (Stan) Snyder and numerous nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.
