Beverly Karinen

Beverly Grace Blackham Karinen passed on November 21, 2013 due to heart complications. Beverly was born on March 13, 1934 in Fountain Green, Utah the daughter of Deneise Guymon and Earl T. Blackham. She graduated from Moroni High School in 1952. She married Bruce Karinen on May 18, 1964. Beverly worked for the U.S. Government as a contract specialist for 36 years and made many good friends. Mom enjoyed many cruises with her husband Bruce, and always seemed to win in Wendover. She was a hockey wife and mother and enjoyed the game as a true fan. Mom was an amazing grandmother. She loved to take her grandchildren shopping and spend time with each one of them. She is survived by her loving husband Bruce, her children Kathy (Jim) Pike and Kerry (Debra) Karinen, grandchildren Autumn, Josh, Noel, Brandon, Jared, Kara, Jessica and siblings. She is preceded in death by her sons Kendall and Daniel.
A Viewing will be held Monday November 25th from 6-8 p.m. at Murray Memorial Mortuary, 5850 S 900 E. A Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 26 at 2:00 p.m. at Holiday Memorial Park, 4900 S Memory Ln. SLC, Utah 84117. Friends may leave condolences by going to www.MurrayMemorial.com.
