Betty Turner

“Goosie” passed away on June 27, 2014, incident to age. She was born on March 28, 1923, in Salt Lake City, Utah, and adopted by Pearl and Hyrum Clawson. She married John D. Turner, June 26, 1942, in the Salt Lake Temple. She died a day after their 73rd anniversary.
She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a patient wife and a loving daughter to her parents. She was loved by all who knew her. Mom enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing, working on puzzles and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughters, Kathy (Howard) Baysinger, Shawna (Gary) Smith; her 6 grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John D. Turner; brother, Dick Clawson.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, July 1, 2014, 11 am at the Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 E. 4580 S., Murray. A special thanks to the staff at Garden Terrace; Jennie and Katie with A Step Forward Hospice, for their loving care of mom.
