Betty Raye Partridge

March 30, 1929 — October 6, 2020

Betty Raye Walker Partridge passed away in peace on Oct. 6, 2020.  She was 91 years old.
Born March 30th, 1929 in Byron Wyoming to Eldon and Charlotte Walker, she was the youngest of 6 Children.
Betty grew up in Powell, Wyoming where she met and married Dorsel Lynn Partridge on Sept. 28, 1946.  They later solemnized their marriage in the Salt Lake Temple. They were married 50 years before he passed in 1996.
Together they raised 7 children and lived in many places across Montana and Wyoming before settling in West Jordan, Utah.
Betty was a life-long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in many callings over the years. She loved her mystery novels, knitting, her pups, roses, chocolate and her family. Thank you, Mom, for all your love over the years. We will miss you!
Proceeded in death by her mother and father, husband, Dorsel Lynn Partridge, daughter Joan Welch (Richard) and siblings; Eldon (Chris) Walker, Dick (Billie) Walker, Elaine (Bob) Schnable, Ellen (Cal) Sanders, William (Tomi) Pryde.
She is survived by her children Rick (Kathye), Calvin, Rodney (Cozette), Lance (Janeen), Annette (Paul) Mora and Jason (Deedee) Partridge.
She also leaves behind 23 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren and 2 great-great, grandchildren.
We are so happy mom is back in the arms of our dear Dad and sister Joan. What a joyful reunion!
We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Cal Partridge, Joan and Rich Welch as well as Lance and Janeen Partridge for selflessly taking care of mom in the last number of years.  Also, Aspire Home Health and Hospice for the loving- support to Betty and our extended family during these last months. Thank you!
On Monday, October 12,2020, a viewing will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m. followed by a graveside service starting at 2:00 p.m., at Memorial Redwood Mortuary & Cemetery, 6500 S. Redwood Road, Taylorville, Utah.
Per a Salt Lake County directive, face masks will be required at all viewing and funeral services.
Social distancing will be enforced. For those unable to attend the services, Memorial Mortuaries and Cemeteries are offering a livestreaming of the funeral service on Zoom via the instructions listed below:
