Betty Lou Wilkerson Moss

November 21, 1949 — April 25, 2017

A tribute to a wonderful and loving mother, Betty Lou Wilkerson Moss, 67, passed away peacefully April 25, 2017.
Betty was born November 21, 1949 to Jennings Woodrow Wilkerson and Allena Marvella Wilkerson in Roosevelt, Utah. She was the fourth of 6 children and grew up in the Uinta Basin area, graduating from Duchesne High School. She lived and worked in Hawaii for over a year and grew to love the LDS faith. She married Antone (Tony) Grant Moss November 22, 1972 in the Salt Lake Temple. She raised 3 children while working full time and taking care of her husband. Betty was a dedicated member of the LDS Church and served in many capacities, including serving as Relief Society President. She worked for many years in various roles and positions ranging from Bank Teller to Regional Sales Director. Betty was a Top Sales Performer for multiple years rewarding her with travel to Egypt, Jerusalem, Turkey, Greece, Cyprus and a cruise to Alaska accompanied by her mother. Besides traveling and learning about history, Betty devoted herself to reading the scriptures and enjoyed painting, crafts, scrapbooking & decorating for all the holidays, but what she loved most was spending time with her family and loved ones.
Betty is survived by her children, Matthew (Sara) Moss, Camille (Brennan) Kelsch, Tiffany (Tyler) Shaw; brothers Gerald (Chella) Wilkerson, Donovan Dale (Susan) Wilkerson; sisters Allena May Grissom, Sally Kay (Larry) Bagley, Patricia Ann (John) Barton; spouse’s siblings, April (Erv) Mantle, Ed Vincent, Pam (Gene) Erickson, Paula (Don) LeSueur, Dan (Shelly) Moss and Michelle (Richard) Hall; 18 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony; children, Mark Anthony; parents, Woodrow & Marvella; spouse’s family, Geneva Jackson, Raphael Moss, Elaine Watson, Craig & Peggy Moss, Julia Vincent and Ronnie Moss; and one grandson, Keauno Kelsch.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sat. May 6, 2017 at Memorial Mortuaries, 6500 South Redwood Road.
