Our loving mother, Betty Nadine Jones, passed away on March 13, 2015. Born April 12, 1930 in Brooklyn, WA to Ed Lee and Helen Ruby Gardner Tourville. She later moved to Chico, CA. Married Irvin Jones in 1951 (later divorced). Mom was a wonderful cook and seamstress. Betty delighted in feeding the masses. Our family was well fed at the many BBQ’s and camping trips. She enjoyed crafts and crocheting. Mom had a beautiful singing voice and at one time sang on the radio in CA. She was a great example of hard work. Her family was her greatest joy. She was a people person and loved to pull pranks.
Survived by her children, Johnnette (Glenn), Irvin (Leslie), Denise (Dan), Vicki (Modesto) and Dale (Carla); 20 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren; siblings, Jerlean, Eddie, Leland, Johnny, Marie and Vance. Preceded in death by her father; twin brother, Frank; granddaughter, Martha and grandson, Bobby; sons in law, Bob and Willie; her fiancé, Pete.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Redwood Memorial, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, UT with a viewing to begin at 12 noon.Service Information
