Betty Jean Bowles Quinn

February 22, 1930 — January 11, 2016

Our Beloved mother and grandmother passed away on January 11, 2016 at Intermountain Hospital surrounded by loved ones. She was born on February 22, 1930 to Mack McKinley and Olive Nola Bowles in Moorehead, Kentucky.  She married William Ray Quinn on May 5, 1948 in Muncie, Indiana and later divorced.  She retired from Salt Lake County Board of Health.  She was a member of the LDS church.  She was a devoted mother to her four children and worked hard to provide for them.  Her life was her family whom she loved very much.  She is survived by her daughter Tresha Hannert (Fred) her son Steven Quinn, Son in-law Steven White, daughter in-law Cheri Quinn Hoggan, nine grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, nine great-great grandchildren, her sisters June Huffman and Doris Gilland, and sister in-law Virginia Bowles.  Betty Jean is preceded in death by her parents, son Rick Quinn, daughter Delana White, grandson Freddie Hannert, daughter in-law Pattie Quinn, four brothers and one sister.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at 1:00 PM with a viewing one hour prior to the service at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.
